We truly believe that music has the power to touch every person and we want to help the students at your school find an outlet for their musical expression. Whether it’s a beautiful concert performance for your school parents, the excitement of a new song learned on guitar, or the creativity that comes from your students composing their own songs.... we know that we have the skills to encourage your students to find their own passion for music. After returning from our most recent overseas backpacking trip, we decided that we wanted to learn about other cultures by living and working overseas. We are both educators with masters degrees in our fields and a significant amount of international travel/study experience. Because of our fun loving spirit, sense of humor, professional experience, and our flexible attitudes, we feel we are a couple well suited for international teaching.
As a director of a music program, he also has valuable experience designing, facilitating, and managing large scale events. At his current position he effectively runs rehearsals with over 70 students, puts on 25 performances per year, coordinates eight large scale concerts, and facilitates activities between music programs that can involve over 200 students. Last year he also designed and managed a colorguard (flags, dance, and rifles) competition that hosted 16 performing units with over 800 participants and spectators in attendance.
Kristine is confident that her experiences as a music therapist and educator will be an asset in the international school setting. Her skills with special needs students make her a valuable teacher in early childhood, elementary, and special education classrooms. In addition, her current position as a professor at a major university has given her experience in planning course curriculum and advising students at the college level. These skills combined with her undergraduate emphasis in psychology would prove valuable if she is hired as your school counselor. Further, her skills in piano, voice, guitar, and violin also make her an excellent candidate for a music teacher position. We both enjoy our current teaching assignments but feel that now is the time to pursue new opportunities. We feel that our personalities, dedication to students, love of music, international travel experiences, and our desire to learn about other cultures make us excellent candidates for positions at your school! We would love to meet you for an interview. Please call us or e mail us at your earliest convenience. Sincerely, Teaching Jobs Overseas © 1996-2008 http://JoyJobs.com/ |
